These Navajo Dead Pawn sterling silver & turquoise cluster earrings were recently obtained from our favorite little pawn shop in Gallup, New Mexico. All the jewelry from this pawn shop was pawned by Native Americans living in the local area. Gallup is the pawn capital of the Southwest, close to the Navajo and Zuni reservations.
The earrings measure 1-3/8 wide. Stamped Sterling and also hallmarked MB. Each earring weighs 5.6 grams.
I'm pretty sure these earrings are set with block turquoise which is not genuine turquoise, but some people like it nonetheless. The sterling silver is genuine.
