Old pawn style KIRK SMITH turquoise & spiny oyster sterling silver pendant with a fancy bale. Genuine Pilot Mountain turquoise stone with with five spiny oyster accents. The pendant measures 3-1/2 inch long including the bale by 1-5/8 inch wide at the widest point. Item# 4617

This top quality sterling silver, turquoise & spiny oyster pendant was created by the late Navajo silversmith, Kirk Smith. Kirk Smith's work is considered collector and investment quality and every Native American jewelry collection should include a piece or two of Kirk Smith jewelry!

This old pawn style pendant has a genuine Pilot Mountain Turquoise stone with reddish brown matrix, surrounded with superb silver work, and accented with five teardrop shaped spiny oyster cabs. The 2-1/2 inch long pendant is attached to a 5/8 inch diameter bale, making the piece a total combined length of 3-1/2 inches. The pendant is 1-5/8 inch wide at the widest point. The pendant & bale weigh 44.8 grams.


Brand new in perfect condition. Stamped sterling and has Kirk Smith's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity included and gift box included. This pendant is an outstanding collector's piece!

Kirk Smith was one of the best Navajo silversmiths in recent times. His work was always top quality and he used only the best stones and materials. Kirk Smith died in an unfortunate tragedy September 17, 2012. He will be deeply missed by family, friends and Native American Indian jewelry collectors and traders everywhere.
