Beautiful vintage turquoise and coral inlay wagon necklace, created by Vincent Dishta & his wife Marvina. Vincent is a third generation Zuni silversmith, grandson of Frank Dishta who originated the small circle flush channel inlay jewelry that we have all come to know and love as Dishta jewelry. The Conestoga wagon is inlaid with turquoise and mother of pearl. Red coral inlay adorns a few flowers on the heavy gauge round sterling silver pendant and mother of pearl and turquoise surround edges of the pendant.
The center medallion measures 2-3/4 inches wide and weighs about 63 grams. Hallmarked V M DISHTA S/S. The handmade sterling silver link chain is attached to the medallion and extends 12-1/2 inches on each side for a total necklace length of 27 inches. Hook and eye closure.
This classic Dishta necklace is from the 1970-80's and will make a perfect addition to your collection. Certificate of Authenticity and Gift Box included with your purchase.
