We are thrilled to have a new selection of amazing, top-quality contemporary inlaid jewelry created by world renown Navajo artist, Jim Harrison. This multigem inlaid band style ring is inlaid with an variety of colorful stones from all over the world. The pink is rhodinite from Russia. The purple or lavender is phophosiderite from Peru. The red is spiny oyster from the Sea of Cortez.
The band style ring measures 3/8 inch wide in the front and 1/4 inch wide in the back. The inlay reaches across the front 2-1/8 inches of the ring. The ring weighs about 8 grams and it is a size 10. Please ignore the reflections that are seen in the sparkling sterling silver.
The work of Jimmie Harrison is very distinctive and easily recognizable. There are few working silversmiths capable of this level of stone to stone Inlay Jewelry. Jim Harrison creates the designs and then cuts and inlays each stone himself. He credits Preston Monongya and Jessie Monongya for his success as a fine jewelry artist.
