This Museum quality multigem inlaid sterling silver naja pendant was handmade by and purchased directly from Navajo artist, Jim Harrison. I am so pleased to be able to offer Jim's amazing inlay jewelry to you. The pendant is impeccably inlaid with an array of stones: turquoise, lapis, sugilite, spiny oyster, black jet, MOP and more. The pendant measures 3-5/8 inches long including the over-sized inlaid bail. The bail can handle a chain up to 5/8 inch wide or round beads up to 3/8 inch wide. The pendant weighs about 39 grams. The versatile pendant can be worn on a variety of necklaces, for completely different looks. The pendant is shown here with a turquoise nugget necklace, an 8mm silver bead necklace and also with a woven sterling silver chain made by Travis Teller (sold separately).

Yei gods, midnight galaxy constellations and Navajo landscapes inspire Jim Harrison's award winning jewelry designs. He works primarily with sterling silver and authentic multi-colored inlaid stones. The work of Jimmie Harrison is very distinctive and easily recognizable. There are few working silversmiths capable of this level of stone to stone Inlay Jewelry.

Every pieces of Jim Harrison jewelry tells a story. Jim told me: "The pendant has 3 faces. The one on top is the sunface. The one in the middle is more of a Navajo female Yei Bei Chai face and another Yei face that more or less represents protection of the Life Line patterns. The life line patterns are the 4 triangles. 2 on each sides. The life lines are Emergence, Learning, Teaching and Wisdom. Black with turquoise dot is the night scene and the landscape on the bottom on both sides."

Brand new and in perfect condition. Obtained directly from and hallmarked by the artist. Gift box and Certificate of Authenticity included with your purchase.
