This stylish contemporary sterling silver cuff bracelet wrapped with sterling silver wire is set with a fossilized red dinosaur bone. The bracelet was created by award winning Navajo artist, Orville Tsinnie.
The genuine dinosaur bone is a reddish brown color with black markings and it has been been polished to a smooth finish.
The bracelet measures 5/8 inch wide, with an inside measurement of 4-7/8 inch plus a non-adjustable opening gap of 7/8 inch. Orville's size Small. Weighs 53.5 grams. The terminals are flattened and flared - a nice touch which helps the bracelet stay on your wrist. My wrist measures 6 inches around and the bracelet fits me snugly.
Brand new and in perfect condition. Gift Box and Certificate of Authenticity included. Hallmarked by the artist and purchased directly from the artist's family. This bracelet was one of the last bracelets that we ordered from Orville before he passed away. Sadly, Orville Tsinnie passed away on May 23, 2017. His family contacted us several weeks later to let us know that he had finished the bracelet before he died and that it only needed to be polished.
Orville Tsinnie was a master Navajo silversmith who had been making jewelry since the 1970s and had won numerous awards, including an IACA Lifetime Achievement award. Orville was a perfectionist, hand picking and polishing only the highest quality natural stones. The level of craftsmanship in Orville's work is superior. His designs are flawlessly executed, his soldering clean, and his finishing and polishing meticulous. This careful attention to detail sets Orville's jewelry apart from many others. He will be greatly missed.
