This reversible inlaid sterling silver pendant was handmade by Navajo artist, Merle House Jr.. The pendant is impeccably inlaid with an array of stones: turquoise, jasper, lapis, black jet, and more. There is an inlaid hogan scene on one side with sterling silver dots as stars accenting the night sky. The other side features a raised Kingman turquoise cobblestone inlay. The large bale is inlaid on each side to match the scene on the pendant
The naja shaped pendant measures 3 inches long including the over-sized bail by 2 inches wide by 3/8 inches thick! The bail can handle a necklace or beads up to 5/8 inches wide. The pendant weighs about 36.6 grams.

Merle House Jr. is in his twenties. He learned silversmithing and stone inlay work from his father-in-law, award winning Navajo silversmith Ervin P. Tsosie.
