This innovative Native American handmade sterling silver ring was hand made by the master Native American silversmith, L. Bruce Hodgins. A sage amethyst agate is set into this deep carved shadowbox setting. Note the special design attention to the carved bezel and the ring shank - the fine hand stamping accentuates the setting and the stone.

The face of the ring measures a bit over 1 in diameter, the band narrows to 5/16 wide at the back. The ring weighs 28.5 grams. Size 11.

About L. Bruce Hodgins: It is with a heavy heart that we report the passing of the artist L. Bruce Hodgins in 2018. L. Bruce Hodgins created one of a kind jewelry now in collections all over the world. He was the winner of many prestigous awards, including third place at the 2005 Sante Fe Indian Market and first place at the 2007 Eiteljorg Museum Indian market. He was born in Flagstaff, Arizona in 1959 to a full-blooded Navajo mother and an Irish/Scotch father. Having grown up on the Hopi reservation where his father was Second Mesa Day School principal, Hodgins gained insight into both Navajo and Hopi culture.
