Good-looking old-style Gaspeite and Sterling Silver ring handmade by Navajo silversmith Robert Shakey. The ring features a medium lime-green Gaspeite stone. Gaspeite is a relatively rare nickel carbonate mineral named for the place it was first found in the Gaspé Peninsula, Canada. The stone is set in a simple straight bezel with a twist rope surrounding it. The setting is a fancy scalloped setting and the 4-way split ring shank is covered with engraved geometric designs across the back.
The face of the ring measures a bit over 1-1/2 tall by 7/8 wide . It weighs 15 grams and is a size 7-1/2. Brand new in perfect condition. It is stamped sterling and has Robert Shakey's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity included and gift box included.
