Harry H. Begay has been making silver jewelry for over 35 years. His work is ingot work, meaning that it is hand wrought in the traditional style. Harry makes every part of his jewelry and begins by melting silver ingots in a crucible, pouring it out and hammering it into the desired shapes. Such work requires multiple annealings (heating the metal) between hammering and is practiced by few Navajo smiths today. This makes Harry's work very collectible and difficult to obtain. We have been waiting many months for his rings.

This heavy sterling silver ring completely covered with deep stamp-work and fancy repousse work and has scalloped edges. This ring works well for either a man or a woman.

The ring measures 1-3/8 inch wide at the front and narrows to about 1/8 inch wide at the back. The ring weighs about 28 grams and is a very comfortable ring to wear. Size 11.

Brand new in perfect condition. It is stamped sterling and has Harry Begay's hallmark. Gift box & Certificate of Authenticity included.
