This fabulous sterling silver turquoise was created by Gloria Begay, wife of the late Navajo silversmith, Kirk Smith. Gloria Begay worked along side her husband and helped him make those wonderful cluster pieces. We are glad to see that she is continuing the family tradition and creating her own jewelry now. If you are familiar with Kirk's work, you will see a lot of similarities between her work and Kirk's.
The fabulous Kingman turquoise stone is a real show-stopper and it is set in a handmade gallery bezel that really accentuates the stone. The stone is set on a triple wire shank ring. Like her husband, Gloria uses only the best stones and materials, choosing turquoise stones with vibrant colors. You will be blown away by the size of the stone, and the beauty of the deep bluish green rock with reddish-brown matrix. The silver is finished with an antique look.
The face of the ring measures 1-3/4 inch long by 1-1/4 inch wide at the widest point and the ring weighs 24.2 grams. Exceptional quality and workmanship. Size 7 only.
Brand new in perfect condition. Stamped sterling and has Gloria Begay's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity included and gift box included.
