This hand made silver and turquoise bracelet, was recently retrieved from a Gallup, New Mexico pawn shop. All the jewelry from this pawn shop was pawned by Native Americans living in the local area. Gallup is the pawn capital and Indian jewelry capital of the Southwest, close to the Navajo and Zuni reservations.
The bracelet is set with five turquoise stones - The stones are a bright turquoise color with natural black matrix. There are no cracks in the stones, only natural matrix lines.
Hallmarked with a symbol that I do not recognize.
The bracelet is 1-3/8 wide with an inner measurement of about 5-1/2 end-to-end plus a opening gap of 1. My wrist is 6 around and the bracelet is snug on me. Weighs 77.9 grams. Warm old silver patina, and is in excellent vintage condition .
