This top quality, sterling silver and multi-stone inlay ring was made by the world famous Native American artist David Tune (Navajo/Creek). The ring features a raised cobblestone inlay using a variety of stones & shells, including turquoise, coral, and more. His jewelry reminds me of colorful jig-saw puzzles pieces.
The ring is mounted on a very thick shank that is wide at one end and gradually gets slimmer as it meets the other side. The narrow side of the shank is intentionally un-attached to the back of the ring (giving you some flex on those swollen finger days), so the ring adjusts. (Meaning it will fit a size 6-1/2 to 8 approx.) The heavy shank rests against the back of the ring, is very strong and will keep its position, once you have adjusted it. The shank looks like it has been tufa cast and is beautifully stamped with David Tune's sun symbol.
The face of the ring measures 1-1/2 long and the ring weighs about 13 grams.
