Navajo artist Nelson Morgan created this spectacular butterfly squash blossom necklace. The three-dimensional necklace is entirely hand made from sterling silver. The detachable naja centerpiece is a three-dimensional shadowbox piece with cut-out peekaboo butterfly designs and set with a genuine turquoise stone. The naja can be worn as a pendant with a simple sterling silver chain for a completely different look. Or the squash blossom & butterfly necklace can be worn alone without the naja centerpiece. It's a very versatile necklace!There are three silver squash blossoms on either side of the necklace. The necklace measures 22 end to end and 14 long from the back of the neck to the bottom of the naja. The detachable naja is 2-3/8 tall by 2-1/8 wide. Necklace weighs about 65 grams.
The top two stones are natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise and the bottom stone used in the Naja is stabilized Kingman turquoise.
