Vintage Native American Multicolor Heishi Necklace

Vintage Pueblo Indian, probably Santo Domingo, handmade graduated mulit gem heishi necklace. The necklace and sterling fittings measure 16 inches. The stones are graduated with the widest diameter being 1/2". At the bottom of the necklace there are spacers for added interest. From private collection. circa 1960-70's. Item #9032

Vintage Pueblo Indian, probably Santo Domingo, handmade graduated mulit gem heishi necklace. The necklace and sterling fittings measure 16 inches long. The stones are graduated with the widest diameter being 1/2". At the bottom of the necklace there     are spacers for added interest. From private collection. circa 1960-70's.

  * The largest pieces 1/2" wide, and the pieces then graduate down in size to the smallest pieces, that run about 1/8" wide.
  * The necklace measures about 16" long end to end. 
  * 3 Silver beads at either end and hook & eye fastener.
  * Excellent condition!

This necklace is from a private collection of southwestern Native American jewelry that we recently purchased from a family that "winnebaggoed" through Arizona, New Mexico & Colorado in the 1960-70's, buying Indian jewelry from some of the best galleries and from the local indigenous peoples.
