Infinity Slide Pendant, sterling silver inlaid with Turquoise & Lapis. Handmade by Isleta silversmiths Melanie Kirk-Lente & Michael Lente. Measures 1-7/8" long by 7/8" wide. Item # 2573

$ 199.99     Available: 1     Back

Melanie Kirk-Lente and Michael Lente (Isleta Pueblo) command a distinctive presence at the top of collectors’ lists world-wide. This contemporary pendant demonstrates why. The artists call this their Infinity pendant and it combines sterling silver overlay with Lapis Lazuli & Turquoise inlay. The Overlay carvings represent Evergeens.

The pendant measures 1-7/8" long by 7/8" wide. Brand new and in perfect condition. Hallmarked by and purchased directly from the artists. Sterling Silver neck cuff/collar sold separately as item #2225

Michael & Melanie Kirk-Lente (Isleta Pueblo) continue to carry on their well-known family tradition in crafting Native American Jewelry. Both were taught by Melanie’s father, renowned artist Andy Lee Kirk, and later attended the Gemological Institute of America where they completed the Graduate Jeweler Program in 1996. Other family silversmiths include: Melanie’s uncle Michael Kirk and his family: Cousin Anthony Gatewood, Sister Kimberlee Kirk, and most recently, Michael’s brother Andrew Lente. The Lentes have amassed an impressive list of top awards at the Santa Fe Indian Market, Eiteljorg Museum, and Heard Museum.
