World-renown Navajo artist Calvin Begay created this Multi-gem Inlaid Sterling Silver Link Bracelet. Calvin has often said that his most significant artistic inspiration has been the famed Faberge eggs with their complex designs and use of many precious and semi gemstones. Well, here we have a unique bracelet where Calvin has created 11 little inlaid "Faberge eggs" linked together with sterling silver hinges. The little eggs are inlaid with a multitude of semi-precious stones and shells in the earthtone range of colors - various jaspers, tiger's eye, pipestone and sparkling lab opal - resulting in another fabulous Calvin Begay wearable work of art.
There are 11 egg-shaped inlaid links, each measuring about 5/8" long, connected with handmade silver hinges. The bracelet measures 7-1/2" long, end-to-end, and approximately 7-1/4" around when closed. The last picture shows this bracelet on my wrist, which is 6" around. There's a lock and a sterling silver safety chain. Brand new and in perfect condition. The bracelet is hallmarked Calvin Begay and Sterling. Gift Box and Certificate of Authenticity included.
