These gorgeous inlaid cardinal earrings were created by Sammy & Esther Guardian, one of the best Zuni husband and wife teams working today. The Guardians have been making beautiful inlaid jewelry for years and they are especially well-known for their inlaid birds and other animals. Of all the Zuni artists who make these type of earrings, I think the Guardians' work is the best!

The earrings features beautifully inlaid cardinal and flowers - abalone, turquoise, coral and other semi-precious stones & shells. The birds are slightly etched to give the illusion of feathers.

The earrings measure 3/4 inch wide and the post is located in the top part of the back of the earring. Each sturdy earring weighs about 2.8 grams.
