Fidel Bahe, Navajo, Repousse Stamped Silver Cuff Bracelet

Old style Native American heavy gauge sterling silver bracelet, hand made by Navajo master silversmith, Fidel Bahe, IACA 2010 First Place winner in "Jewelry - Metalsmithing". The bracelet measures 1/2" wide with an inside end-to-end inside measurement of 5-7/8" plus 1-1/8" gap. Item#3084

$ 250.00     SOLD     Back

This Native American handmade heavy gauge sterling silver repousse & stamped bracelet, was created by the master Native American silversmith, Fidel Bahe. Down in the old traditional style.

The bracelet measures measures 1/2" wide with an inside end-to-end inside measurement of 5-7/8" plus 1-1/8" gap. The bracelet can be adjusted to fit. My wrist measures 6" around and the bracelet is big on me.

Fidel Bahe was born on the Navajo Reservation in 1949. Fidel, self-taught, began producing silverwork at the age of 24. Fidel worked with and was influenced by Preston Monongye, Charles Loloma, Victor Beck, Wilson Jim and Edison Smith. Fidel‘s work is very distinctive. He enjoys making silverwork the old, traditional way, and is known for his tufa and sand cast designs. His original silverwork has won many awards throughout the United States, including first place in jewelry - metal-smithing at the IACA 2010 spring show.

Brand new and in perfect condition. Gift Box and Certificate of Authenticity included. Hallmarked by the artist.

Fidel Bahe is a member of I.A.C.A. and I had the pleasure of meeting him and purchasing this bracelet and other jewelry directly from him at the 2010 spring IACA wholesale market.
