Helen & Lincoln Zunie (Zuni) Inlaid Horse Ranger Buckle

Classic 4-piece Multi Gem Inlaid Horse Ranger buckle set, hallmarked H-L Zunie. Sterling Silver & colorful channel inlay. This set will best fit a belt 5/8" wide. Item# 1658

$ 545.00     SOLD     Back

This is a beautiful brand new Zuni Hand Made Multi Gem Inlay 4-piece ranger buckle set, created by Lincoln Zunie. This buckle set features Turquoise, Coral (or Spiny Oyster), Jet and Mother of Pearl set in a stunning work of art. The piece features Helen & Lincoln Zunie's classic horse head design. The horse is inlaid with a creamy-colored shell or stone that I can't identify.

The artists, Helen and Lincoln Zunie, are nationally-known, Native American Zuni Artists. They have been creating beautiful jewelry since the early 1970's and no Zuni collection can be considered  complete without a piece of their work. Their hallmark "H-L Zunie", stands for both Helen and Lincoln. Lincoln was the brother of silversmiths William and Joe Zunie. Sadly, I understand that Helen is deceased, so Lincoln carries on alone. And due to Lincoln's advanced age, I don’t imagine this buckle is being made anymore. This piece was purchased new from our wholesaler about 2-3 years ago. Do not miss this opportunity to own a piece of historic Zuni inlay art.

The colorful channel inlay is impeccable! The main part of the buckle measures 4" by 2-1/4", there are two inlaid keepers, and an inlaid tip. This set will best fit a         belt 5/8" wide.

Hallmarked H-L ZUNIE. Brand new and in perfect condition. Gift boxed with Certificate of Authenticity.
