R QUAM Vintage Zuni Inlay Indian Chief Bolo

Vintage Zuni Inlay Indian Head Bolo Tie, by the legendary Zuni lapidarist, Raymond Quam. Measures 3-3/4" by 2-3/4". Excellent condition! circa 1960-70's. Private collection Item# 9021

Up for your consideration is this vintage Native American handmade bolo, featuring a detailed perfectly inlaid Indian Chief Head on sterling silver, created by Zuni legend Raymond Quam. This is one of Quam's signature pieces for which he is well-known. His work is now highly sought after by enthusiasts and collectors.

The beautiful inlay is slightly convexly raised above the surface. The main bolo piece measures 3-3/4" tall by 2-3/4" wide. Locking clasp on the back. The silver tips are 2-1/4" long.The leather bolo tie is in excellent condition.

This piece was purchased for a private collection in the 1960-70's. It is stamped R QUAM on a raised plaque. Excellent condition!
