VINTAGE NATIVE AMERICAN BEAR CLAW SILVER CAP PENDANT

Genuine bear claw pendant with Native American sterling silver cap, adorned with typical Navajo silver-work. Vintage. Measures about 1-5/8" long. Old 18" sterling silver chain too. Item#1861

$ 75.00     Available: 1     Back

This old genuine bear claw pendant was created by an unknown Native American silversmith. The bear claw is still in excellent condition and capped with a sterling silver cap, adorned with typical Navajo ornamental silver-work. In very good condition, this pendant appears to have been well cared for, with no significant scratches or other signs of excessive wear.

Overall, the pendant measures about 1-5/8" long, from the tip of the bear claw to the silver bale. The bale can accommodate a chain up to 3/16" wide. The pendant comes with an old 18" sterling silver chain too. As is the case more often that not with the earlier Native American jewelry, this piece is not marked by it's maker. Excellent condition!
