Vintage 1950s Native American Turquoise Snake-eye Bracelet

Vintage Native American turquoise silver bracelet with large oval turquoise stone, surrounded with turquoise snake eyes. circa 1950's. Measures 1-3/8 " wide at the center, tapering to 3/8" at the back. It has an inner circumference of 5-3/8" end-to-end plus a gap of 1-1/8". Item#7694

$ 245.00     Available: 1     Back

Vintage Native American Silver bracelet featuring a genuine turquoise stone, set in a plain bezel, surrounded with mini turquoise "snake-eyes". This Navajo fabricated bracelet has detailed and unique applied silver work. There are wiggly arrows stamped on the center support. The stone is a nice deep sky-blue color in perfect condition measuring a bit over 1/2" long. As is the case more often that not with the earlier Native American jewelry, this piece is not marked for silver content or maker.       However, I guarantee that it is coin silver (.900/90%) or sterling silver (.925/92.5%).

The bracelet is almost 1-3/8 " wide tapering to 3/8" at the back. It has an inner circumference of 5-3/8" end-to-end plus a gap of 1-1/8". Weighs 35.2 grams. Excellent condition with no issues. There were a few particles of brown paper in some of the crevasses on the face of the bracelet when it was photographed. They have since been dusted away. circa 1950's.

All of the items we sell are AUTHENTIC, Native American made. We purchase most of the new items directly, in person, at the reservations or from the artists themselves. The pawn items are purchased by us, in person, from reputable Southwestern pawn shops with whom we have dealt for many years. Most of the vintage pieces are obtained from friends of our family who run a Western and Native American Art auction house. They've been in business for ages and are very knowledgeable. And finally, our family has dealt in Native American and other antiquities for over 90 years, and we have specialized in Indian Jewelry for the last 20 years. This insures the authenticity of the jewelry we sell and protects your investment.
