Pre-owned Black Onyx Silver Squash Blossom Necklace

Pre-owned sterling silver and black onyx squash blossom necklace. 18 squash blossoms, graduated in size. Measures 19" from back of neck to bottom of naja. Estate sale item. Exact age unknown. Item# 3704

$ 325.00     SOLD     Back

Up for your consideration is this pre-owned Native American sterling silver and black onyx squash blossom necklace. This necklace was recently obtained from an estate sale at a local auction house. The exact age of the necklace is unknown, but it appears to be an older piece, based upon the older style silver beads and the plain handmade bezels holding the stones.

The necklace is double stranded with what appear to be handmade silver beads. There are 9 squash blossoms on either side of the necklace, and the oval black onyx stones are graduated in size from 5/8" long at the largest near the naja to 3/8" long near the neck. The necklace is stamped sterling and also with an "N". We believe the item to be Native American made since it was    purchased from an estate sale which had quite a few fine pieces of signed Native American jewelry.

  * 34" long from end to end
  * 19" hang from the neck
  * Naja: 2-1/4" x 2" in size
  * Blossoms: Graduated in size from 1-1/8" long to 7/8" long
  * Weight: About 3-1/2 ounces

Very good condition, needing only a polish, unless you prefer the vintage patina.
