Beautiful Navajo handmade sterling silver ring with a natural green Royston turquoise stone, set in an old pawn style setting. The face of the ring measures 1-1/8" long by 5/8" wide. Weighs 11.6 grams.
Excellent quality silver work and high quality natural turquoise stone. The stone is a sea green color with pale sandy color matrix. Royston turquoise is a hard stone that takes a good polish.

About the artist: Stanley Parker is well known for his high quality traditionally styled silverwork. Stanley Parker was born in 1952 and raised on the Navajo reservation. Two things about Stanley's work that really stand out are: 1) master silversmithing and 2) choice of natural turquoise. His silver work is very precise and he is very careful in his choice of natural turquoise stones. His fine work commands high prices.
