Zuni ~ Dennis & Nancy Edaakie ~ Inlay Knifewing Kachina Bracelet

Collector's Native American Zuni handcrafted sterling silver Knifewing inlay bracelet, by Dennis & Nancy Edaakie. This bracelet was made by Dennis & Nancy Edaakie before Dennis passed away in early 2008. It is "brand new" in the sense that it has been in stock since then and has never been worn. The bracelet measures almost 1-3/4" wide, with an inside end-to-end measurement of 5-1/4" plus a 1" gap. Impeccable turquoise, coral, MOP & jet inlay. Item#2850

$ 1495.00     Available: 1     Back

Dennis and Nancy Edaakie have been among the most celebrated of all the fine Zuni artists. Dennis and Nancy are best known for their inlaid bird and koshare clown jewelry. They have won many prizes and awards and their work can be seen in many prestigious Native American jewelry collections as well as all the best Zuni jewelry collecting guides.

Unfortunately, Dennis passed away in early 2008. This bracelet was made by Dennis & Nancy before he passed away. It is "brand new" in the sense that  it has been in stock since then and has never been worn.

This brand new highly polished Native American Zuni handcrafted multi-stone inlay sterling silver bracelet is intricately inlaid with authentic Turquoise, Coral, Jet, and Mother of Pearl  in a colorful Knifewing design. There are four open cut-out areas on either side near the back of the bracelet.

The bracelet measures almost 1-3/4" wide at the front narrowing to 1-1/4" wide at the terminals, with an inside end-to-end measurement of 5-1/4" plus a 1" gap. Weighs 67 grams. I would advise AGAINST adjusting this bracelet, since that could damage the inlay. Please ignore any shadows or reflections seen in the highly polished sterling silver. It was difficult to get a photo  of the bracelet without reflections.

Hallmarked by the artists and also stamped Sterling. Brand new and in perfect condition. Gift box and Certificate of Authenticity included with your purchase. I won't be discounting this bracelet due to the quality and the rarity of Dennis Edaakie pieces at this time. Dennis Edaakie died in early 2008 and his family has continued on with his craft. But this is an authentic Dennis & Nancy Edaakie piece.

Dennis & Nancy Edaakie were respected as  top  prizewinning jewelers. They specialized in engraved, mosaic inlay jewelry. They are considered one of the first to make reversible inlay pendants. Dennis was taught by his uncle Jake Haloo, a master Zuni jeweler. Nancy and one of her sons (Sanford) have since resumed making the traditional Edaakie designs using Nancy's new hallmark. Don't miss this opportunity to own an original Dennis & Nancy Edaakie bracelet.
