About L. Bruce Hodgins: L. Bruce Hodgins creates one-of-a-kind jewelry now in collections all over the world. Rather using the expected turquoise in his jewelry, he has incorporated exotic stones into his three dimensional concept jewelry. He is the winner of many prestigous awards, including third place at the 2005 Sante Fe Indian Market and first place at the 2007 Eiteljorg Museum Indian market. He was born in Flagstaff, Arizona in 1959 to a full-blooded Navajo mother and an Anglo father. Having grown up on the Hopi reservation where his father was Second Mesa Day School principal, Hodgins gained insight into both Navajo and Hopi culture.
