This simple beauty is the trademark of Navajo artist Randall Endito, who uses heavy beaten silver bands to present simple stones. This ring is set with a natural bright blue Blue Ridge turquoise stone.
The band measures a bit over 1/4" wide. Weighs 9.6 grams. Size 11.
Brand new and in perfect condition. Gift Box and Certificate of Authenticity included. Hallmarked by the artist.
I purchased this ring along with other jewelry directly from Deanna Olson, owner of Silver Sun, a longtime member of IACA, at the 2009 spring wholesale market. Since 1985, Silver Sun has been providing authentic, handmade Native American jewelry to the public by wholesaling to fine shops and galleries, museums, and Indian stores across the globe.
About Blue Ridge Turquoise: The Blue Ridge mine is a recent discovery in northern China in the Anhui province. Blue Ridge turquoise is typically found as translucent blue nuggets with dark matrix. Much of this turquoise is enhanced or stabilized.
About Randall Endito: Randall is a proud member of the Endito silversmithing family. His parents, Randy & Etta Endito, taught him the craft and he made his first piece of jewelry when he was 21.
