Long Sterling Silver "Grandma" Petroglyph Pendant from Navajo silversmith artist Alex Sanchez. Alex calls this piece a "Singing Grandma" pendant and he made it as a tribute to his grandmother who raised him as a child. This gorgeous pendant was created in honor of all grandmothers whose wisdom and love helps nurture their grandchildren.
The piece is embellished with various Native petroglyph symbols, including a sterling squash necklace, dragonfly and a corn plant.
The pendant measures 3-1/8" long and is 1-1/8" wide. It weighs 29.2 grams, is stamped sterling and has Alex's hallmark. The pendant's bale is large enough to accommodate a chain up to 3/8" wide.The back of the pendant is stamped with Alex's well-known intricate designs.
