Here's a sterling silver and turquoise petroglyph & repousse bracelet, created by Navajo artist Alex Sanchez. This heavy-gauge cuff bracelet is from Alex's "petroglyph collection" and features an blue #8 turquoise stone with nice matrix. This one-of-a-kind piece was created in his petroglyph style - heavy, textured, oxidized sterling silver decorated with all kinds of the applied silver symbols: a dragonfly symbolizing beauty, a sacred bear for protection, a healing hand and two whirlwind spirals. The genuine turquoise stone sits high in a plain deep bezel in the center of the bracelet. There are six repousse circles on the cuff on the other side of the stone.
The heavy bracelet measures 5/8" wide with an inside end-to-end measurement of 5-5/8" plus an additional opening gap of 1-1/8". It weighs 52 grams. Like most of Alex's work, the inside of the bracelet is decorated, in this case with with hand stamped bear designs. The cuff is slightly adjustable.
Brand new in perfect condition. It is stamped sterling and has Alex Sanchez's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity included and gift box included. Free shipping!
