Fantastic coral snake eye Zuni handcrafted sterling silver prayer ring, measuring 2-1/4 inch long, with 85 individually bezel set genuine coral snake-eyes (17 rows of 5 stones each). There is a single rope design down each side of the ring and silver beads between each bezel set stone. What in incredible amount of work goes into making one of these rings! This ring was made by the Zuni artists Peter III & Vivian Haloo. Peter and Vivian Haloo have been creating beautiful jewelry since 1965. Peter does the silver work and sets the stones, while his wife does the polishing. They specialize in "snake eye" settings using his grandparents' designs. If you are interested in seeing/reading more about these fine Zuni artists, Peter and Vivian Haloo, you can look them up in "Zuni The Art and The People, Vol.3, page 38 or Barton Wright's "Hallmarks of the Southwest" page 73.

Brand new in perfect condition. All stones secure in their settings. Certificate of Authenticity and gift box included.          Size 8-1/2. Weighs 22 grams. Hallmarked P&V HALOO.
