Long Sterling Silver "Grandma" Petroglyph Pendant from Navajo silversmith artist Alex Sanchez. This gorgeous pendant was created in honor of all grandmothers whose wisdom and love helps nurture their grandchildren.

The piece is embellished with various Native petroglyph symbols, including a sterling squash necklace, dragonfly and a corn plant. The pendant measures 3-1/8" long and is 1-1/8" wide. It weighs 29.2 grams, is stamped sterling and has Alex's hallmark. The pendant's bale is large enough to accommodate a chain up to 3/8" wide. The back of the pendant is stamped with Alex's well-known intricate designs.

Brand new and in perfect condition. Gift box and Certificate of Authenticity included with your purchase. Hallmarked by the artist.

Alex is one of today's most collectible Native American jewelry artists and his art is generally on display in the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona. The Heard is considered the "Smithsonian" of Native American jewelry.
