This elegant contemporary multi-gem inlaid bear pendant was created by Navajo artist & silversmith, Calvin Begay. The bear pendant is inlaid with a multitude of semi-precious stones - there is a pueblo scene against a starry night sky on the main bear shaped part of the pendant. The black night sky is inlaid with small dots of sterling silver, which look like stars, There is even one star with a trailing "tail" of sparkling lab opal, which looks like a shooting star or a comet. The pendant is absolutely breathtaking is both design, artistry and craftsmanship. The colorful channel inlay is impeccable.
The three-piece pendant measures 2" long, including the bale, by 1-3/4" wide. The bale has a use-able interior diameter of 3/8".
