NATIVE AMERICAN DEAD PAWN TURQUOISE SILVER SQUASH BLOSSOM NECKLACE

This Native American handmade squash blossom necklace was retrieved from a well-regarded Gallup, New Mexico pawn shop. 10 squash blossoms. 26" length. Free shipping. Item #1380

$ 350.00     SOLD     Back

Native American sterling silver turquoise squash blossom necklace with 10 squash blossoms - 5 on each side - and an intricate naja at the center. The necklace is set with turquoise stones with black matrix. The necklace measures about about 26 inches from end to end. The Naja measures 2-1/2 inches tall by 2-1/4 inches wide. The squash blossoms each measure about 1-1/4 inch long. Excellent Condition!

The piece is hallmarked DG for the maker and is marked sterling. I have tested the necklace for silver content and guarantee that it is sterling silver. In my opinion, the turquoise appears to be "block" turquoise, since the appearance is very uniform and the surface of the stones is totally smooth.

This piece was picked up from a well-regarded pawn shop in Gallup, New Mexico. I'm afraid I don't have any history on the piece.
