This unique Native American handcrafted Sterling Silver Multi stone Inlaid Link Choker Necklace & Earring set was designed by Navajo artist, Calvin Begay.

This incredible necklace features 31 individual links inlaid with Sleeping Beauty turquoise, Chinese turquoise, lapis, red, orange and purple spiny oyster, black jet and Mother of Pearl. The links range in size from the center link, which is 5/8" by 1/2", graduating down to 3/8" by 1/4" --- and the silver links on the sides and at the back of the necklace are inlaid on the inner side surface. These silver links are 1/2" by 1/4" with the inlaid surface measuring a tiny 3/8" by 1/8". This unusual arrangement of the inlay looks absolutely smashing around your neck! The back of every link is solid sterling silver. There is a hidden clasp and safety chain. The necklace measures about 19" long.

The matching drop hinged earrings for pierced ears feature the same design and stones. The earrings are made up of three hinged inlaid squares - 1/4" square, 3/8" square and 1/4" square for a total length of 1-1/4".

Calvin Begay is an award winning artist, jeweler, designer and master craftsman. Starting as jewelry maker, he has evolved into a designer creating this and other copyrighted designs for A Touch of Santa Fe and other Gallup shops. Calvin designed this necklace for his former employer, A Touch of Santa Fe of Gallup, New Mexico. After he designed this necklace, TSF retained the copyright and turned the execution over to the Native American silversmiths and lapidarists who work at TSF. This necklace & earring set is hallmarked Calvin Begay and Evangeline Sherman. the Navajo artist who did the inlay, as well as TSF and Sterling.
