Calvin Begay Jewelry
Calvin Begay is an award winning Navajo artist, jeweler, designer and master craftsman. Starting as jewelry maker, he has evolved into a designer as well, creating copyrighted jewelry designs for A Touch of Santa Fe and other shops in Gallup, New Mexico. As his fame has spread, he has moved into an atelier system. He designs an item and turns the execution over to his apprentices, under his supervision. (For those unfamiliar with it, the atelier system is what allows great artists like Calvin to turn out more work than their individual hands could ever accomplish.)
Each piece of Calvin Begay jewelry is a unique Navajo handcrafted piece of jewelry - no two pieces are identical. We can order similar pieces in your desired size or colors, but please understand that we can not order carbon copies. This jewelry is not factory made; it is handmade by Navajo artists who create unique one of a kind works of art.
