These sterling silver turquoise earrings were created by the Navajo silversmith, Dean Brown. Dean Brown is Kirk Smith's nephew and has apprenticed under his famous uncle. Dean is now quite successful in his own right, producing old style jewelry, similar to Kirk's. But Dean is one of the up and upcoming young Navajo artists who have already gained quite a following of their own.
The earrings are set with genuine greenish turquoise stones set in straight bezels with an "old pawn" finish. Silver beads and twisted silver rope complete the look.
Brand new in perfect condition. Exceptional quality and workmanship. The old pawn style earrings measure 2-5/8" long and 1/2" wide at the widest point. Each earring weighs 7.8 grams. They are stamped sterling and have Dean Brown's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity included and gift box included.
