About Tommy Jackson: One of the best contemporary Navajo jewelers working today is Tommy Jackson. Tommy is the son of Gene and Martha Jackson, both well-known silversmiths specializing in shadow box type jewelry. Tommy learned the basics of silversmithing from his father Gene and began creating jewelry in 1973, and became a full time silversmith in 2002.
