Godber Turquoise Silver Ring by Navajo Geraldine Yazzie, sz8

Massive Native American handmade sterling silver Godber turquoise ring, by Navajo artist, Geraldine Yazzie. Natural stones. The face of the ring measures 2-5/8 inches long. The ring weighs 39 grams. Eight way split shank. Size 8. Item#2465

$ 380.00     SOLD     Back

Navajo Geraldine Yazzie created this huge sterling silver ring, set with two genuine Godber turquoise stones. The natural hard Godber turquoise stones are truly impressive, a bright turquoise color with medium brown matrix. They are set in simple deep bezels with twisted silver rope surrounding them. With a measurement of 2-5/8 inches long by 1-1/8" wide, this top-quality Navajo ring is a real show-stopper!

The ring weighs 39 grams. Eight-way split shank. Size 8. Brand new and in perfect condition. Gift Box and Certificate of Authenticity included. Hallmarked by the artist, Geraldine Yazzie. This ring works equally well for a man or a woman.

One side of the shank is intentionally un-attached to the back of the ring (giving you some flex on those swollen finger days), so the ring adjusts about 1/2 of a size. The heavy shank rests against the back of the ring and is very strong and will not weaken over time.

Geraldine Yazzie learned to silversmith from her mother. She has been smithing for over 17 years, and is known for her beautiful concho belts with wonderful, deep stamping. She is in her thirties and lives with her four children in Smith Lake on the Navajo reservation.
