Stanley Parker Navajo Royston Turquoise Silver Ring Sz8-1/2

Native American Natural Royston Turquoise Sterling Silver ring. One of a kind old pawn style ring by renowned Navajo artist, Stanley Parker. Natural stone. The face of the ring measures about 1-1/4" long. Size 8-1/2. Item#2067

$ 159.00     Available: 1     Back

Authentic Native American handmade sterling silver ring with a natural Royston turquoise stone, new but made in the old style by renowned Navajo artist, Stanley Parker. The face of the ring measures 1-1/4" long by 5/8" wide. Weighs 11 grams. Size 8-1/2 only.

Three-way split shank with applied silver hogan beads. The sterling silver setting has a soft brushed satin finish. The high quality natural turquoise stone is a subdued shade of greenish blue with reddish-brown matrix.

Brand new in perfect condition. It is stamped sterling and has Stanley Parker's hallmark. Certificate of Authenticity included and gift box included.

Royston turquoise comes from the Tonapah, Nevada area, and is known for its beautiful colors, ranging from deep green to rich, light blues set off by a heavy brown matrix. First discovered in 1902, and the oldest patented mine in Nevada, it is still active as an open pit mine but I've heard it is operated only twice a year.

About the artist: Stanley Parker is well known for his high quality traditionally styled silverwork. Stanley Parker was born in 1952 and raised on the Navajo reservation. Two things stand out about Stanley's work: his silver work is very precise and he is very careful in his choice of natural turquoise stones. His fine work commands high prices.

Don't miss out on this distinctive ring with a natural high-grade Royston turquoise stone from a master Navajo artist at a reasonable price!
