Vintage ~ Frank Dishta ~ Zuni Turquoise MOP HorseShoe Ring SZ11

Collector's dream! Vintage Dishta Mother of Pearl, black onyx and turquoise flush inlaid horse shoe ring, attributed to Frank Dishta. The ring is hallmarked DISHTA on a raised plaque. Size 11. Item#1714

$ 650.00     SOLD     Back

Here is a highly collectible vintage Dishta inlaid horse shoe ring. This fabulous ring features a Mother of Pearl, black onyx and turquoise flush inlay horse shoe, in the flush set inlay style made famous by Frank Dishta. The ring is hallmarked DISHTA on a raised plaque, which I believe to be the hallmark of the one and only Frank Dishta. There are tiny round flush inlay black onyx "dots" inlaid into the Mother of Pearl inlay. The sides of the ring have applied partial silver wagon wheels with turquoise centers. This ring is one of those classic "must-have" pieces of old Native American jewelry by one of the greatest Zuni masters of all time.

The face of the ring measures 7/8 inches tall by 3/4 inches wide. The ring weighs 20 grams and is a size 11. This classic Dishta piece is in excellent condition and will make a perfect addition to your collection. I do not see any damage. All stones and shells are firmly set with no cracks or chips. One turquoise stone has turned slightly darker around the edges.

Excellent condition!
